Wakefield Repertory Theater will present the Rodgers and Hammerstein’s musical Oklahoma! which opens Thursday, April 2. 

Performance times are Thursday through Saturday at 8 PM and Sunday, April 5 at 2:00 at the Galvin Middle School Auditorium.  Tickets are $16 for adults, $14 for students and seniors.  To reserve tickets in advance, call781-245-1173.  Tickets will be on sale beginning March 30-April 1 from 7-8:30 at the box office at the Galvin Auditorium.


North Suburban Family Network Fundraiser

On Sunday, May 3 from 1-5 PM, North Suburban Family Network will hold a fundraiser, Pampering with a Purpose, at Oak Grove Village Clubhouse, 12 Island Hill Ave in Melrose.  Come for a ladies’ day of massage, wine/chocolate pairings, and a spring fashion show.  Tickets are $30 and are available from NSFN at 781-662-2722.

Good Harbor provides a setting that works in this second novel from Anita Diamant. The author writes about the places of Cape Ann, specifically Good Harbor Beach, but also the towns of Gloucester and Rockport, the neighborhoods of Lanesville and Rocky Neck like a painter with a palette that contains vivid tones, shades, and depths of color. I live in Gloucester and her rapturous writing captured the best of the reasons to live there and did justice to the nobility and the mundane routine of the fishing community that pervades that peninsula.

Pop Warner Returning Registration
