Book Discussion Groups

Beebe Library has three ongoing book discussion groups:

Books by the Lake combines the enjoyment of reading a single title and the desire to share insights, observations, and feelings about that one book with others who have read it. Books by the Lake meets on the third Wednesday evening of each month at 7:30 pm and is run by Leane Ellis (ellis@noblenet.org) of the Reference Department.

Supper Sleuths, a mystery discussion group, meets the second Tuesday evening of the month at 6:00pm to discuss mysteries of every genre and type. Feel free to bring your own snack or brown bag lunch with you to the meeting. This group is also run by Leane Ellis (ellis@noblenet.org) of the Reference Department.

The Senior Center Book Group is similar to Books by the Lake in that everyone reads and discusses the same title. It is hosted by Catherine McDonald (cmcdonal@noblenet.org) and Jaclyn Strycharz (strycharz@noblenet.org) and meets at the Senior Center (30 Converse Street) on the second Wednesday of each month at 10:30 am.

For more information about our book groups, contact the Reference Desk at 781-246-6334 x2, or e-mail the group leaders directly.
