YA Video Game Days!
Two gaming days for January!
On Wednesday, January 11 from 3:00-4:30, everyone in grades 5 and up is welcome for an afternoon of snacks, sodas, and video games. You can choose from the Playstation2, Xbox 360, Wii, or Playstation3, and a variety of games. Feel free to bring your own games from home, but nothing M-rated, please.
For a more mature gaming atmosphere, kids age 14 and older can come to the library on Wednesday, January 18 from 3:00-4:30. All of the library’s equipment is still available, but this time you CAN bring your M-rated games from home! Keep in mind that we’re going on an honor system here. If you lie to the librarian and we get in trouble for having younger kids on this day, we won’t be able to do this program again, which would be sad for all of us, obviously.
YA Video Game Day
On Wednesday, November 9 from 3-4:30pm, kids in grades 5 and up can come play video games in the Lecture Hall of the library. We’ll have an XBOX 360, Playstation2, Playstation3, and Wii with controllers and games. You can bring your own games from home, but no M-rated games please! We’ll also have snacks and soda for you. See you Wednesday!
Youth Advisory Board Meeting
Wednesday, November 2, 3pm in the Homework Center, Grades 5 and up.

We’ll have snacks and soda and talk about upcoming events, plan future programs, and talk about your ideas. The Advisory Board also gets the chance to take home advance copies of books and review them for the library. It’s a great way to share your opinions on books with everyone at the library.
