The Library offers a free delivery service for Wakefield residents who are permanently or temporarily unable to come to the Library because of an illness or disability.
To set up a home delivery card, contact the Reference Department. We will set up a profile for you which includes contact information, reading interests, and delivery information. Home delivery materials have an extended loan period of six weeks, and there are no overdue fines. You can request specific titles or subjects at any time, or you can have us select materials for you based on your profile of interests. We will come and pick up your books when you are ready to return them.
The Library is grateful to its many volunteers who assist with deliveries for this service. If you are interested in becoming a delivery program volunteer, please contact the Reference Department for further information.
