New England is blessed with a wide variety of habitats that support an amazing diversity of wildlife. During this richly illustrated presentation, Bill will take you for photographic visits to many of these extraordinary places. He’ll show you plants and animals of roadsides and forest edges, freshwater wetlands, salt marshes and mud flats, sandy beaches and dunes, and the Boreal Forests of northern New England. Throughout his talk, Bill will describe the interrelationships among the various species.

Since 1986, Bill Gette, former sanctuary director of Mass Audubon’s Joppa Flats Education Center in Newburyport, has been leading natural history field trips throughout New England and the World.
