In connection with the fifth annual “Blossoms at the Beebe” celebration on April 28, Beebe Library is sponsoring a photo contest. The theme of the contest is “Wakefield Then and Now,” showcasing how important sites in Wakefield have changed over the years. Entrants will be asked to select a historic photo of Wakefield and then take a new present day photo of the same location.

On April 13, 2011, Beebe Library participated in “Massachusetts Library Snapshot Day,” a way for libraries of all types across the state to show what happens in a single day in their libraries.
