Breakheart Reservation is a public 640 acre reservation straddling the border of Wakefield and Saugus. The bulk of the reservation lies within the town of Saugus. It is managed by the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR).

The reservation consists primarily of hardwood forest, and includes two lakes, one of which (Pearce Lake) has supervised swimming during the summer. There are several rocky hills between 200 and 300 feet high which allow views of the surrounding area. The reservation also includes an extensive system of hiking trails and a leash-free dog park.

Breakheart is not open to vehicles, but parking is available from two entrances: 1. The main entrance at 177 Forest Street, Saugus, and 2. The Wakefield entrance via Hemlock Road (off Farm Street) by the Northeast Metrotech Vocational High School.
