The Wakefield Interfaith Food Pantry reports a 30% increase in the number of families served over this time last year.  The generous donations received over the holidays have been used to help families during December and January.

During the Super Bowl football game on February 1st. families and their guests are urged to collect donations of money and food for the pantry.   Non-perishable food can be dropped of at the First Baptist Church Monday through Friday from 9:00 to noon.  Please use the entrance from the parking lot across from Town Hall.  If you have a very large donation please contact the Pantry at 8781-245-2510 or www.wifoodpantry.org.  Checks can be mailed to: Wakefield Interfaith Food Pantry % First Baptist Church,  8 Lafayette St.  Wakefield, MA 01880.
