Cooks by the Lake is Beebe Library’s cookbook club.  Join a rotating cast of librarian hosts once a month for potluck and patter about all things cooking.  Some months we’ll all cook from a single cookbook then meet at the library to share our recipes and our thoughts on the book.  Other months, we may choose a theme (Middle Eastern cooking, winter baking, etc.) and offer a selection of cookbooks to choose from.  Still other months could be even more open – bring your favorite appetizer, for example.

We’ll provide the plates, silverware, etc., you bring your dish, any necessary serving utensils and your appetite, of course.  This is your chance to find out if a cookbook is worthy of adding to your collection and learning tips and tricks from other cooks in the community.  We hope you’ll join us!

March’s meeting will be celebrating Pi Day on March 22 at 7:00 pm! Bring your favorite Pies or Tarts, then taste and trade recipes with the group.

Once you’ve chosen your recipe, add your name and your selection to this list so we can avoid duplicating our efforts.

We look forward to dining and discussing with you!
