Have you ever been so scared that; your heart stopped, you almost fainted, you screamed yourself hoarse? Or maybe you heard a story like that from a  friend or relative? Bring your raw experience and we will help cook it up into a story! Just in time for Halloween! Learn how to tell a compelling, real-life story in an engaging, interactive workshop followed by a story slam. In a series of fun exercises and storytelling games participants will listen to and craft their own stories.  

 Norah Dooley, educator, children’s author and storyteller specializes in teaching people the importance of storytelling. Helping to organize block parties inspired Norah to write about her former Cambridge neighborhood in a series of four published picture books.  Norah was a co-founder of As the director of StoriesLive® she helped thousands of Greater Boston middle and high school students learn to tell effective stories. As an adjunct professor she works for economic, racial and climate justice with SEIU 509’s Faculty Forward union.
