Step 1: Read and Sign our Lending Agreement. All patrons MUST sign The Library of Things Lending Agreement before placing a hold on the following items. This form needs to be filled out each and every time an item is requested. If the agreement is not signed, the request will be delayed and/or cancelled and you will be contacted by library staff.

Step 2: Place a hold. Click any item below to be redirected to our online catalog where you can place a hold on the desired Library of Things item. You will be notified by phone and/or email when your item is ready for pickup.

Step 3: Pick up your item. Make an appointment for a Side Door pickup. You may do this using the library calendar or by phone. When you arrive for your appointment, please call our temporary number (781-619-1100) and a staff member will bring your item to you at the Avon Street door.

Step 4: Return your item. When returning any Library of Things item, you must call 781-619-1100 and a staff member will meet you at the Avon Street entrance to accept your return. All returns must be made during the Library’s open hours, Monday-Saturday from 9am-5pm.

DO NOT LEAVE LIBRARY OF THINGS ITEMS IN THE RETURN BIN. If items are left in the Return Bin, you will be subject to replacement costs and/or loss of privileges.
