Summer Reading for Adults

Summer Reading for Adults

Jealous that your child gets a sticker for reading? Reminiscing about the days when you could come to the library and participate in a reading challenge? Well have no fear, adult summer reading is here! This summer we aren’t going to let the kids and teens have all the fun. Introducing Beebe Bingo, an adult summer reading program that allows you to play along with your family and friends. The squares include reading and non-reading challenges related to library materials and events such as attending Plaza Jazz or  borrowing a Museum Pass. You can pick up a bingo card at the Library Information Wall between the Reference and Circulation Desks. Play for a chance to win waterproof book-themed stickers, a gift card to a local restaurant or business, and Beebe Library merchandise. This program is sponsored by Friends of Beebe Library.

The rules are simple:

  • Complete a square, get it stamped at the Reference Desk, and choose a sticker.
  • Get 1 raffle ticket at the Reference Desk for every line completed (BINGO!).
  • Complete the whole bingo board and receive 5 raffle tickets.

Patrons are only eligible to win one prize.

The first day to pick up your bingo card is June 23rd. Good luck and thanks for playing!
