We welcome Wakefield author and Massachusetts Book Award winner (for Sea Room), Norman Gautreau, who is launching his latest novel, The Light from the Dark Side of the Moon.

From the cover: Haunted by loss of the woman who saved his life and then lost her own, 92-year-old Henry Budge defies his family to embark on one last journey to France [on the 70th Anniversary of D-Day] to honor the memory of his passionate love affair and reflect on what might have been. What he learns about himself and his long-lost Elodie transforms him and forever changes the lives of those he loves.

Books will be available for signing and selling, and refreshments will be served.

Norman Gautreau is a native New Englander with a life-long love of the sea. His first novel, Sea Room, won the prestigious Massachusetts Book Award for Fiction in 2003, was an ‘All-City-Reads’ choice in several cities, and was a BookSense selection. He has since written several more critically acclaimed, prize-winning novels.
