It’s really summer! We know it must be true, because every year around this time we roll out our lists of recommendations for great summer reading on a wide variety of subjects. The program, formerly known as Beach Reads, is now called Summer Buzz, and the live show happened on the evening of June 27th in the Living Room in front of an audience as well as the TV cameras from Wakefield Community Access Television (WCAT). If you’d like to see that show, you can head over to WCAT’s YouTube Channel.
Below you’ll find links to each of seven themed lists containing descriptions of our book picks. The cover images in the lists are direct links to our catalog, so you can immediately place a hold on the ones you like. You’ll also find the paper lists and a selection of the books on display at the library, so drop by anytime and check them out.
