This September, Beebe Library invites you to celebrate Library Card Sign-up Month and discover how a single card can open the door to endless opportunities.
With a library card, you can do more than check out books. From free programs and job resources to computer help, streaming media, and events like Plaza Jazz, today’s libraries connect communities to information, inspiration, and each other.
This year’s signup theme, “One Card, Endless Possibilities,” is a reminder that libraries are for everyone—no matter your age, background, or goals. Whether you’re diving into a new hobby, searching for your next great read, brushing up on tech skills, or helping your child succeed in school, it all starts with a library card.
At Beebe Library, you’ll find:
- Resources including books, ebooks, audiobooks, and online databases.
- The Digital Media Lab, the Library of Things, and our Museum Pass program.
- Programs and events for all ages—from storytimes and book clubs to job search support and tech classes.

- New Library Card Raffle! – Get a library card in September and you’ll be entered into a raffle to win six audiobook credits from Libro.fm.
- Pop-up on the Plaza – Keep an eye out for library staff on the Plaza on September 9th and 20th. We’ll be out there to help you get a library card, update your card, chat about books, and tell you all the great things the Beebe has to offer!
- Library Card Replacement Fee Waived in September – Did you lose your library card? During the month of September, we will waive the $1 replacement fee!
