For middle and high schoolers (grades 5-12). Meet Riley, a miniature poodle and certified therapy dog! Riley and his human, Bonnie, will teach you some “Doggie 101. ” Learn how to introduce yourself to a dog and how you can ask a dog owner if you can pet their dog.
This is an In-Person Program. Join the community to gather, share what you're reading, and settle in for an hour of silent, sustained reading. At the end of the hour, attendees can socialize—or not! Light refreshments will be provided. We will have a half an hour to settle into the event, an hour to read
For grades 2-8 and families. Chess players in grades 2-8 and their chess-loving family members are invited to come by the library for a game or two and to meet and socialize with fellow chess players! We will have chess sets for you to use, but you are welcome to bring your own.
