Wakefield’s Hot 100

Wakefield’s Hot 100

Everyone loves a list, and if you’re curious to know what your fellow library patrons have been reading so far this year, this one’s for you! Head over to the full list here and place your hold on the ones you haven’t read yet. Just click on the cover or title to find the book in our catalog.

“But,” we hear you wondering, “if these are so popular, won’t I be on the waitlist forever?” No worries – we are librarians after all, and making recommendations for “readalikes” is what we love to do. So below, along with a statistic or two, you’ll find books to try if you can’t get hold of any of the top 10 books on the list.

Remember, the Buzz Table in our front lobby has multiple copies of the most popular titles. There’s no wait list for these books. If you see one on the table, it’s yours. They have a seven day loan period and renew automatically one time.

Prince Harry’s memoir, Spare, tops the list with 252 checkouts. Readalike: The Palace Papers by Tina Brown

Mad Honey by Jodi Picoult and Jennifer Finney Boylan comes in second with 209 checkouts. Readalike: Defending Jacob by William Landay
